Wellbeing Architects
Reimagining organisations.
Wellbeing Architects works with organisations to build inclusive, just and caring cultures that facilitate long-term sustainability.
Why Organisational Care Matters?
For us, care is a political practice. It asks us how we choose to organise ourselves, whose needs are recognised, whose labour is made visible, who gets to participate in decisions, and how responsibility is shared. Care is expressed through the everyday practices, structures, and relationships that make collective work possible.
Designing for care means asking different questions.
- How is power experienced, negotiated, and shared?
- What relationships hold the work together?
- Whose labour is recognised, and whose remains unseen?
- What practices strengthen trust, accountability, and collective responsibility?
- What conditions allow people to contribute meaningfully without becoming depleted?
- How do we remain responsive to changing circumstances while staying rooted in our purpose and values?
Care cannot be reduced to wellness initiatives within organisations that continue to produce exhaustion, exclusion, and fear. Nor can it rely on individuals. Care is something we cultivate together. It is built into how we make decisions, respond to conflict, allocate resources, hold one another accountable, and create the conditions for people and purpose to flourish together.
Our work comes from the belief that organisations are part of the social fabric. They are not separate from the world they seek to change. The ways we organise, lead, and relate become a rehearsal for the futures we hope to create.
How we work
Designing cultures, practices and systems that make care possible.
We work with human rights organisations, feminist movements, social purpose organisations, foundations, and networks that are asking how to build institutions that are both effective and deeply human.
Our work takes many forms, including facilitation, organisational learning, workshops, reflective processes, culture development, research, and practical tools. Whatever the format, we create spaces for people to pause, make sense of their experience, and explore new ways of working together.
Our approach draws on feminist practice, organisational development, systems thinking, participatory methods, and relational ways of learning. We begin from the belief that every organisation already holds knowledge and wisdom about itself. Through thoughtful questions, collective reflection, and practical inquiry, we help bring that knowledge into view.
Rather than offering ready-made answers, we invite organisations into conversations and practices that strengthen their capacity to learn, adapt, and shape cultures where people and purpose can flourish together.
What we do
We work with organisations to build inclusive, just and caring cultures that sustain themselves over time, through:

Facilitating Cultures of Care
We design and facilitate conversations, reflection spaces and collaborative processes that help organisations navigate complexity, make sense of change and align culture with values. Rather than providing ready-made solutions, we create the conditions for organisations to think, to co-create and to practice together.

Care Resourcing
We build the knowledge, skills and capacities that enable care to become part of everyday organisational life. Through learning journeys, retreats, workshops and leadership development, we strengthen the people who strengthen the organisation.

Designing New Possibilities
We work alongside organisations to imagine new organisational futures and design new ways of working. Together we develop practices, frameworks, strategies and organisational architectures that embed care into governance, leadership and everyday culture.
